A Special Day!
We’re thrilled to be singing happy birthday to ourselves this month, as SilVR Adventures turns 2!
At first it was humble beginnings – driving around Australia offering VR sessions in interested aged cares. Then before we knew it, we were launching our 2.0 solution, taking part in accelerator programs. And recently the birth of the podcast. So it’s fair to say, its been two massive years!
That’s why we’ve gone all out for the celebrations this year, we even got ourselves a little something. But despite all our milestones and victories, we know that what really matters is changing the lives of our older adults. So we went back through the archives to showcase where we’ve made a difference. Have a look!
Whether it’s taking taking groups flying over Turkey in a hot air balloon. Visiting a far flung corner of the world or revisiting a special place from the past. The most important thing for creating joy for seniors is our passion. And what’s a birthday for if not to celebrate your successes and growth over the past years!
CEO Colin shares his thoughts
Colin Pudsey, our CEO and founder, had this to say online:
To date we’ve taken 1000’s of older adults of meaningful shared experiences in virtual reality across ANZ. And I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved. But it doesn’t stop there. We’re excited to share more on our evolution and growth with new markets, services and product features in the coming months. For now, it’s time to celebrate our wonderful partners and customers. Our kick-ass team, invaluable advisors, mentors, friends, champions and cheerleaders. And of course the remarkable elders that make this business so damn fun and rewarding – thank you!
We’re excited for everything that the next few years will bring. So more great partners, more great content and more opportunities to change the lives of older adults with virtual reality.
