London Tech Week: VR Ambassadors

London Tech Week: VR Ambassadors

London Tech Week

This month SilVR Adventures took part in one of the world’s biggest innovation celebrations – London Tech Week (LTW). Importantly the 5-day event featured ground-breaking companies and disruptive innovators in a combination of online and in-person events.
Whilst LTW is based in London, it  serves as a global meeting point for creative companies that are re-imagining the global tech landscape.
Because of this, SilVR Adventures is thrilled to be one of a select few Victorian companies to be invited to the event.

VR and Health Tech

Each year London Tech Week highlights several streams of technology. And the highlights¬† for this year were: Future Technology, Educational Technology, Digital Health and Createch. These final two categories made SilVR Adventures a perfect choice to attend the event. Given our passion for reducing isolation and loneliness through virtual reality, a type of “createch”.

A Virtual Trade Mission

All of this was possible thanks to the Victoria Government, acting through Global Victoria and Creative Victoria. And it’s these organisations that allowed SilVR Adventures to represent some world leading organisations from the state. Moreover the selected companies were part of a Virtual Trade Mission (VTM) which showcased some of Victoria’s brightest and most inspiring new businesses.

Virtual Reality Ambassadors

As part of the London Tech Week proceedings, SilVR Adventures expanded it’s network. We also explored new opportunities and connected with global partners to bring VR to more people.

As Australia’s leading provider of Meaningful VR, we’re committed to improving the lives of older adults through shared virtual reality experiences. And we know that the potential for VR is limitless, especially when combined with a well-being based approach.

And we’re proud and excited to participate in the 2021 London Tech Week, and motivated for the future opportunities it will bring.
