Australia’s entrepreneurial playground CareFactor completed it’s 2020/21 program with a live pitch event at ITAC.
This program took ten promising startup teams, including SilVR Adventures through an intensive ten weeks of skills development, strategising and iteration to help companies refine their business models and their offerings to customers. This means that new companies entering the aged care space can deliver more effective products and services to our industry. As a result this translates into a better of life and quality of care for our seniors.
Meanwhile at SilVR Adventures we had a fantastic time at CareFactor exploring new horizons and possibilities for our offerings. Furthermore we recommitted ourselves to providing excellent service and life changing virtual reality experiences for seniors.
Although we didn’t win the pitch day event, we certainly made some wonderful connections through the program. And came into contact with some great new partners looking to improve quality of life in their care facilities.
Ash de Neef, host of the Aged Care Enrichment Podcast spoke to CareFactor’s Program Director Heath Shonhan for the podcast. And in this episode they had an in-depth discussion about innovation in the industry and how all enterprises can unlock periods of rapid growth using core business principles.
The CareFactor program runs each year with a new cohort of businesses, and we’ll be eagerly watching next years teams!
