SilVR MACG Eldercare Awards

SilVR Adventures is proud to share that we have won Innovation of the Year: Cognitive Therapy at the Eldercare Awards 2026 by Ageing Asia, alongside our valued partner Medical and Aged Care Group (MACG).

This award recognises best technology innovation that engages, enables rehabilitation and supports happiness for older persons living with dementia. To receive this recognition on an international stage is incredibly meaningful for our team and for the work we are doing with partners who are deeply committed to improving outcomes for older people.

SilVR win

SilVR Adventures’ Marketing Manager, Sabrina Leung, accompanied by Cameron McPherson, CEO of MACG, collect the award for Innovation of the Year: Cognitive Therapy at the Eldercare Awards 2026 by Ageing Asia

The recognition reflects the strength of the partnership between SilVR and MACG, and the shared belief that innovation in aged care should never be about technology for its own sake. It should be about creating more meaningful engagement, more moments of connection, and better support for older people, including those living with dementia.

We were also proud to be named Finalists in Innovation of the Year – Social Engagement – Experiential, which recognises best social engagement experiential programme that helps combat social isolation and improve social outcomes for older persons. We were honoured to stand alongside our friends and fellow innovators TeaTime and Andromeda in that category.

A special shout out goes to Sabrina, Marketing Manager at SilVR Adventures, and Jacinta, Community Engagement Manager at MACG, who represented our organisations so strongly in Singapore and pitched brilliantly on stage.

We are also incredibly grateful to Cameron, CEO of MACG, and Samantha, General Manager, Brand & Resident Experience at MACG, for their leadership, support and belief in what this partnership can achieve. Our thanks also go to the wider MACG team for their commitment to innovation and to creating meaningful experiences for older people every day.

This latest recognition also builds on the momentum of SilVR’s 2025 Eldercare Award win in Singapore with St Luke’s ElderCare (SLEC), and reflects the growing international recognition of what is possible when innovative care providers and the right technology come together with purpose.

It is also an exciting time for SilVR as we continue building SilVR Pathways, our next step in helping providers deliver more personalised, consistent and visible engagement at scale. While awards are always appreciated, what matters most is what they represent: practical innovation that can support care teams, improve experiences for residents, and help providers do more of what matters.

This is a proud moment for our team, and a meaningful reminder of what is possible when the right technology is placed in the hands of great people.
